Here’s an encounter between WGM Dina Belenkaya and Washington Square Park chess player, Johnny Chess. The video describes Johnny as a hustler–and I suppose he is–but he is also is very evidently one of the people who bring out the joys of chess. Until I began digging deeper today, I was familiar with WGM Dina Belenkaya as someone who posted shorts on Youtube documenting her chess games at various tournaments. Now I find that she “[w]ill teach you how to use your BRAIN with [her] Russian Chess School.” I totally believe that she can and will.
